Greetings, this month's session will be about lobbying and we’re fortunate to have  lobbyists from the non profit and private sectors

Have you lobbied in Augusta (or Washington DC?). What was/is your experience? What is the lobbying process? Is it a mostly public effort or more private conversations? Some media stories suggest there are cash payments or tradeoffs involved, what’s the reality?
